Twitter officially launches of Threads, a new feature to easily post tweet storms
Twitter has launched a new feature that will allow people to more easily post tweet-storms. This gives option to share long tweets with increase in character limitation. Where people can express there thoughts in more informative way .The twitter company confirmed last month it was testing the feature – which is named as Threads in IOS and Android apps.
Tweet-storm format has been used by Twitter since years,In starting stage it is used by a small number of early adopters,who would often share the equivalent of blog posts using tweets.
Twitter has recently doubled the character size of tweets.There are huge number of threads tweeted out daily by twitter users. Initially tweets character count used to be 140 now its doubled to 280 characters.So its easy for users to share long messages easily.
The new "Threads" feature is easy to compose tweets. There is a new plus button in the composer interface where you can type out your multiple no of tweets.
